No One Is Coming To Save Us

Gareth Icke

Gareth Icke “So when you look at it and think, well, if this person is allowed to come to power, if I’m allowed to to vote for them, there’s a reason for that. There’s a reason for that. They tick a box for them. And so maybe we don’t play along and we don’t fall for it in with Reform in the UK in terms of being that alternative because that’s how they’re trying to frame them. They’re trying to frame them as essentially the new Trump, isn’t it really? You know, this is … it’s MEGA. It’s make England great again and that actually is when we start to say, do you know what … stop giving our power away to these people and accept the reality that no one’s coming to save us. Now, when I say that, people think that’s quite defeatist. They go, “Oh, great. Oh, brilliant. No one’s coming to save us then.” But that’s a good thing. That’s actually a good thing because we’re finally … we’re not reliant on other people. We’re reliant on ourselves.
